MODEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Topology/Structure
    • Node connections and weights - do we learn the structure or pre-specify it?
    • Are the node connections directed or undirected - can we tell something about the causal relationships?
    • Do we treat all nodes equally? Can we give some nodes priority during modeling?

    • How many states/person?
    • Is the state space discrete or continuous?

    • How do we determine the action space?
    • Do we model actions separately or as a combined state-action space?
