ALIVE Cluster

The ALIVE cluster is the largest of the vismod public spaces. The western portion is dominated by the Smart Room display and theater. The southern portion is home to the primary Smart Desk installation.>

Historical Note:

The name ALIVE comes from the first application built in the Smart Room idiom. It has also been refered to by some as "noisy space".

log ago this whole area housed the Media Lab machine room, including the Lab's CM2 . It was also very noisy back then.
