The following questionnaire was orally administered to the accompanying adult with each child before the Affective Tigger was introduced. The results from all trials are summarized in italics directly beneath each question. The number of responses does not sum to twelve because presumably the accompanying adult did not know the answer or did not wish to respond for some other reason.
Questions for accompanying adult:
The following few questions are to help me know a little
more about your child. I will be giving you both a new kind of toy,
and I would like to know how you believe your child will respond to
the toy. There are no right or wrong answers. If you do not know or
are not comfortable answering any of the questions feel free to tell
me to skip to the next. Finally, do not worry if your child does not
behave the way you expected him/her to, this is very natural and does
not reflect poorly on you in any way.
