Upgrading from an Earlier Release

This section describes the upgrade issues involved in moving from the Instrument Control Toolbox 1.1 to Version 1.2.

delete Function

If you delete an open instrument object, then fclose is automatically called and the object is closed before deletion.

Measurement Computing GPIB Boards

The vendor name for Measurement Computing (ComputerBoards) hardware is now mcc. For this release, you can still use the previous vendor name (cbi), although this name will not be supported in future toolbox releases.
