Performing Common License Management Tasks

This section describes common license management tasks that you may need to perform, including:

• Viewing the current status of the license manager
• Starting and stopping the license manager or other license management daemon
• Installing the license manager as a Windows service
• Running multiple versions of MATLAB at the same time
• Running MATLAB with other applications that use FLEXlm license management
• Setting up a redundant license server configuration
• Upgrading a demo license to a perpetual license without having to reinstall MATLAB (Individual licenses only)
