Welcome to the home page for the fifth annual IAP Computer Graphics Workshop. This year's course (for the second year in a row) teaches the Open Inventor 3D graphics toolkit. We hope that providing this programming experience to our students will help them get started with, or further their understanding in, the theory and applications of computer graphics.
This course uses the Scheme programming language, and the Ivy package for a Scheme binding for Open Inventor. Useful Scheme references are the Revised(4) Report on the Algorithmic Language Scheme and information about the SCM Scheme implementation with which this course is taught. Another useful reference is the MIT Scheme Reference Manual, but note that there are some incompatibilities between MIT Scheme and SCM.
The course syllabus is on-line.
