NOTE: This course was updated as the Computer Graphics Workshop '97. Many of the course notes have been rewritten; I suggest you try that course instead. However, do look at the students' final projects before you go!
Welcome to the home page for the fourth annual IAP Computer Graphics Workshop. This year's workshop will focus on learning to program the Open Inventor 3D graphics toolkit. We hope that providing this programming experience to our students will help them get started with, or further their understanding in, the theory and applications of computer graphics.
This course uses the Scheme programming language. Useful Scheme references are the Revised(4) Report on the Algorithmic Language Scheme and information about the SCM Scheme implementation. Another useful reference is the MIT Scheme Reference Manual, but note that there are some incompatibilities between MIT Scheme and the interpreter we use for this course.
We welcome your comments on our course! Please feel to free to send us email.
Schedule for the Computer Graphics Workshop All labs ("L") meet in 4-035. Classes ("C") meet in E15-054 (basement of the Media Lab). Click on a highlighted date to see lecture notes for that day. Click on a "PS#" to see the problem set assigned on that day. | ||||
