Artificial Life

If you're gonig to build an interactive environment, you need something to interact with.

Bruce Blumberg and others from the Autonomous Agents Group have populated our interactive world with agents that try to behave like real animals: dogs and hampsters. The agents enhance the IVE experience by giving the user something interesting to interact with.

The agents interpret the state of the world and the state of the human (as provided by the vision system) to determine thier responses.

Agent simulation shares CPU time with graphics.
